One of the many difficulties of working in The Gambia is the relatively limited road infrastructure that currently exists. During the dry season the roads are very bumpy and dusty but passable, however during the wet season many areas become virtually impossible to reach.

During 2010 Schools 4 Schools invested in a support boat, not only does this add to the 2 jeeps we have in the country to transport resources up country, but we have now been able to provide transport to and from the villages to the capital for medical treatment in a lot more comfort than before.

We are also planning to establish and support a series of medical clinics at specific locations along the river.
